Weekly Spend Challenge W/C 3rd November 2013

Hello everyone. Welcome to the Weekly Spend Challenge. This challenge is open to anybody, no matter what financial place they are in.
On this thread please post an amount of money you wish to stay below within the week (Sunday to end of working day on Friday). This can be pennies or thousands it depends on the individual. Then next Saturday report back and pledge for the following week. The challenge runs from Sunday to Friday so we don't include Saturdays but feel free to change the rules to suit you and include Saturdays or start on a different day.
Feel free to update this thread with daily spends if that keeps you on track. We colour code the results as below:
Green - within budget
Red - over budget
Purple - zero spend
Orange - made money over the week
This is a little bit of fun but for many it highlights the fact that maybe that magazine/chocolate bar isn't needed. Hopefully your spending habits can be changed forever.

Hi everyone. :hello:
Well after a green week but only just I am setting £20 for this week.
Sun - NSD
Mon - NSD
Tues - baby group & car parking
Weds - baby group and lunch
Thurs - pick hubby up. :j:j:j - NSD
Fri - out for tea but from joint acc - NSD
Sat - family gathering - hopefully NSD
Ooooo just remembered we may be out for lunch twice this week.
I had to reschedule lunch from last week with a friend as little man was ill. And we decided to go for a lunch after one of the baby groups which I thought would be nice to socialise.
So actually better set £30. But could try and just have a starter for one of my lunches that would help the diet too.
And I'm always scuppered by hubby, so will see how I go.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Good evening all!
Thanks ETO for the thread.
Sorry I have been AWOL due to (a very spendy eeep) half term. I have joined NSK's just say NOvember thread so am tracking NSDs there. I am budgeting a whopping £5 for drinks and snacks for work this week. not intending on spending anything else due to NSK's spending restrictions!
Good luck one and all!0 -
Last week was way too spendy even if most of it was in the budget. Back to work tomorrow after the half term so everything will return to normal
I will set £10 for this week pleaseProud to be dealing with my debts!
LBM - December 2012 Time in debt - 30 years and 2 months! DFD - May 2015

Can I go for £20 again this week? Was horribly over budget last week but will be good this week!
Starting as I mean to go on with a NSD today :A0
