CMS parking fine, in a mess

yep sounds good, and lastly would you bother telling roxburgh that there is no debt, and to stop contacting me, as i have now declined there is a debt it could constitute as harrassment?
had a letter today from roxburghe asking for £150.00. Ive sent cms a number of letters and emails since the ticket was issued in april (yes april) Ive had not response from the on each occasion. i have called their collection agent as first their was no way of contact cms directly. Cms have never since responded to my letters of appeal. So in thinking the ticket was squashed back then, got further letters from other agents in august again sent letter to appeal as was told on the phone to do so. toady 25/11 letter dropped on floor really gobsmacked tbh that afte all this time there still chasing the fine but not acknowledging my appeal. Ive sent Roxburghe an email today after:( being told im not allowed to deal with it on the phone with them. Husband terminally ill (not joking)lung cancer so cant deal with it or the stress of it either.
im not paying this fine on principle, but what would your advice be?0 -
Why are you replying to Roxburghe at all? Why?? They are merely a pen-pushing debt collector call centre, not worthy of correspondence!
Did you not know that CMS have gone into voluntary liquidation and are not BPA members now?
You are posting on someone else's thread, when in fact all you need to do is read the sticky thread 'newbies, have you got a private parking ticket? Read this now?' and follow the links & advice I have written about debt collector letters.
So sorry to read your news about your husband, this isn't a time to be bothered with the likes of Roxburghe. They are NOTHING to worry about; you can easily deal with this by either ignoring Roxburghe's letters or reporting them to the various agencies shown in my thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? No, don't ever do that! How on earth would you know if the PPC had decided to try a small claim.?! Open every letter and as long as it's the usual drivel from Roxburghe then ignore it. If you get a Letter before Claim from the PPC themselves or a Solicitor like BP Collins, JMW or Gladstones, then you would need to respond as per the LBCCC sticky info thread.
Please never throw away letters suggesting you owe money for a charge like this, not until you are six years past.
Your choices are as shown on the sticky thread and it DOES NOT say chuck them in the bin.
Anyway you need your own thread to continue this discussion, please, this is hijacking Naz2k5's thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
