    Purchased July 2013 - FTB

    1960s, 3 bed, semi detached - North-West/Greater Manchester area.

    Asking price £122,250 - we offered and paid £122.50 as we just absolutely fell in love with the house!

    After moving in it transpired that the detached garage was neither use nor ornament :mad: The plan is to eventually (when I say eventually, I mean way, way, WAY down the line!) to knock down the garage and have a new one built onto the side of the house...

    Other than that, most of the work was pretty much cosmetic; new carpets, painting/glossing, new fitted wardrobes etc.

    It's been hard work but totally worth it. I love seeing the transformation. I've even taken before and after pictures... :rotfl:
