Replacing oil with gas CH

I'm considering viewing a house that has oil CH. There is gas at the house and I'd prefer this but I'm just wondering 1) likely cost of changing and 2) how much upheaval would be involved?
The house was bought less than 16 months ago and 12 months before that-I always wonder why a house has been sold after such a short time.
Thanks for any suggestions.

depends on the oil system that's installed. could be a straight boiler swap. £1-2k.
if its a more or less a straight swap 1 days work. 2-3 days if they milk it0 -

to get rid of the old oil tank, depends if its rented, or was bought, If rented they will take away, if bought you will have to dispose of it properly0
-
if its bunded its worth a few pound second hand.0
