Sky mis-sold offer dispute. Need help please!

hello,
I bought Sky Tv (Entertainment Extra +, Sky Movies, Sky Sports, Sky HD Package), Sky Line Rental and Sky Broadband outside superstore from an Sky Agent. It costs £100 a month.
The agent told me the whole package is on 12 months half-price on 12 months contract so I will be paying all that for only £50 a month. I confirmed this with him time and time again and he confirmed yes it is 12 months half-price. My other half confirmed the same as well. The Sky agent then setup my sky account over the phone with his sky colleague.
A week later after the setup; I called Sky to confirm whether all is OK. To my surprise Sky package was applied only for 6 months 1/2 price and not 12 months. Sky customer service asked me to email the copy of the document which confirms the offer of 12 months on it.
All I have with me was the brochure where the sky agent scribbled about the packages I'm buying and details about me and my sky account. On top of the brochure he scribbled 12 months when he said it was 12 months half-price.
I scanned and sent that document to sky and they are saying they cant do anything unless it is written in the document clearly offering 12 month half price. The sky agent outside the superstore one was temporary and I'm unable to get hold of him.
This is clearly mis-sold by Sky agent or an mistake. What I don't understand is the fuss they are causing in applying the discount. Sky already offer openly 12 month half-price offer already online via quidco and other sites. The dispute is still ongoing and I need some help and advise.
What can I do to resolve this problem? The sky agents outside superstore just had a bench and selling sky. They dont have computers where they put through the offer and print out contracts and documents. If the brochure that had the details written is not sufficient then what is?
I need some help with this please? I won't let this go. I want to fight this! This is illegal in my opinion.

It is/should be illegal. And they are all liars. And there is nothing you can do. And Britain is well and truly broken.0

I cannot let them get away with this. I will fight this and won't let it go. What is making me so angry is; It's sky employee who sold it to me and it is sky employee who is asking me to prove. Why can't they get in touch directly with the sky employee who sold me this. I gave job number, employee name and his mobile number. All sky has to do is call him and confirm it with him.
I think something is going on here. I think the sky agent just applied 6 months but told me 12 months to get his commission. I sincerely hope that is not the case and I hope this is all a mistake and they would resolve it.0 -
Because their job is to confuse the hell out of you and grind you down until you back off. I would only take it so far and then move on and sleep at night.0

NEVER BUY IN THE SHOPPING CENTER, I know someone this happened to alsoDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

If you haven't signed the contract just send it back (Recorded Delivery) with a letter stating that you don't agree to it. Don't add anything to that - no explanation or anything. Simply that you don't agree to the contact. If they phone you, tell them you don't want Sky and you never agreed to have Sky. They have nothing in writing and nothing recorded so they can't prove otherwise. The less you say, the better.0
