Orange contract up advice

What happens at the end of your contract, does your phone become PAYG or would Orange continue to bill you monthly at a particular tariff, or would service just cease? If you want no further service post contract period and you need to give notice, then I would be giving it now.0

do you want to keep your number and use it on another network, or do you just want to completely cancel the contract (and lose the number)?0

If you don't give notice the contract will continue indefinitely.0

I want to keep my number and change network providers. I Just need to know its ok to give notice on your pay monthly contract before the end of the contract. It does say 30 days notice, but does that mean after the contract is up or can it be before?do you want to keep your number and use it on another network, or do you just want to completely cancel the contract (and lose the number)?

if you plan to move your number, then you dont need to give notice, and doing so is not a good idea anyways.
instead, in your final month of the contract, when you plan to move, you need to get a PAC code, once the new network uses this to transfer your number, the old contract will be ended.
requesting a PAC will cancel any previous notice given.
the PAC does not need 30 days notice to be used, but is only valid for a month0 -
So if didn't want my old number I would have to give notice now? for it to end on the 1st of December.if you plan to move your number, then you dont need to give notice, and doing so is not a good idea anyways.

if 1st of december is when your contract ends, then yes you will need to.
otherwise the contract will run on another month before being canceled
if you are moving your number, you only need to make sure the PAC is used before the 1st dec (preferable aleast a week before)0 -
