    Absolutely. The two are often used interchangeably by the same kind of bigoted, ignorant people. See also, "I'm not a racist but..."

    I would have responded "Really Beckham, if you think maths is so jolly, why do you hate it?"

    It would have gone over their heads-They are the generation that never heard gay to mean "bright, happy etc"

    I think its more that it known that men don't really take an interest in children until they can talk and play more. Personally, I don't think my OH would be interested in pictures of his own baby! He cares about his nieces but he doesn't really look at pictures of them on facebook or whatever because he prefers to get to play games with the one old enough to speak - the younger baby niece just gets a confused look from OH!
