I'm back again for November, going on holiday in a few weeks so hoping to get some more UUs then :)

  • UU to report:

Unknown handcream I got from a testing panel - WNBA even if I knew what it was. It was OK but I struggle to use handcream as by the time ive moisturised everything else ive had enough and I dont care for the feel of it on my hands. Must make more of an effort as it does improve how my hands look.

50ml Bliss blood orange & white pepper body butter - this was strangely fragranced like floral freshly squeezed orange juice. It wasnt unpleasant but a little odd. I would happily use it again but wouldnt go out of my way to repurchase.

It IS frightening isnt it?? Don't worry, I have learnt from all these lovely peeps that you can't shock this group, go for it, you are in good company.

Me, for instance. I joined in September, I have a HUGE stash list (I work for Lush which doesn't help!) And this evening I was tidying up the spare room and thought 'I wonder if there is anything in that hatbox up there...' Oh there sure is!! How can I have missed all these??!

So that leads me to some INS:
    Twilight bath bomb
    santas sack bubble bar x2
Blue skies bubble bar 1 1/2
    Dreamtime bath melt
    Christmas eve bubble bar x2

    oh dear....
    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D

Ohh, we haven't had a stash pic for a wee while Meames! Welcome.
Thanks for the Gemspa HB tip, Emsjune78. It was an unexpected gift from a friend, I think she may have possibly won it at prize bingo..!
Kind of her to think of me.
I used to regularly shop for prizes for bingo for a club I ran and toiletries were always popular.

Now that I have a shiny new hairdryer, I gave the (not so) old one to my dear grand-daughter, which means that her mother gets the hairdryer I gave her previously back from DGD who has appropriated it. DGD has lovely luxuriant thick hair; the only female blood relative of mine to be so blessed.

DGD also got a Kylie Minogue sparkly mini shower gel that I had put aside for a stocking filler for her. This is to take on her school ski-ing trip to Italy in December.
She mentioned she was running low on shampoo, always a smart move in this house, so got a sachet of Everpure from a mag, and a Avon red clover and blackcurrant 2 in 1 shampoo that was also destined for her stocking. Also out to DGD, some Batiste Nude powder shampoo.

Avon IN's definitely for me: 2x Avon Care Rich Moisture Family Cream. Okay it's building a stash and it's always on offer, but it's also brilliant and I use it daily.

I will probably want a slightly heavier butter, like the Gemspa, for my dry spots -shins in particular - for winter. My days of dry peeling winter shins are long past, but it's still an area that needs more TLC than most.

Avon brochure to peruse. Temptation. Get thee behind me, Satan...

I'm really underwhelmed with Boots Christmas efforts this year so that's definitely going to help me challenge wise :rotfl:

Oh me too! For the first year since they started, I couldn't be bothered with the £12 points for £50 spend evenings, plus I used to stock up on expensive things I no longer use as much like razor blades (thanks to some laser hair removal). Plus they had one not long ago (August I think) and thanks to various glitches I've got a tonne of points anyway!

I have my eye on a few sets but they're the premium beauty ones and I'm not even considering them until the boxing day sales anyway! The BD sales are my Christmas happy place, I have no family except 2 brothers I can't stand and spend xmas alone, so the sales are me taking advantage of the fact that most other people are still at home with their family, and cashing in on some bargains! :rotfl:

    Have some uu

Phil Smith Extreme Style Expanding Thickening Cream - WBA and already have two more in the stash, this gives volume and thickens my roots but leaves my hair very soft too. Have moved onto a Sammy Fat Hair Thickening Cream for now.

Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator - not keen on this as it is in a gel base and doesn't feel like it does anything. I have more of these in the stash but WNBA after those have finished.

Avon Far Away EDP - 30ml, I like this and have another in the stash.

off topic, had a shock yesterday when an email from Tesco direct thanked me for my order of a book,......I did not even know they sold books and certainly had not ordered one!The shock however was that my clubcard vouchers had been used to buy it!!!I phoned them at once but they were at a loss to understand how it could happen. It was only a £6 voucher but I am worried in case it was a trial by a hacker to get onto my accounts(the one password links all Tesco accounts it seems)
The book will arrive but the Tesco support man says he will refund my voucher but I had to change my password and even a very complex one(totally unmemorable so needed to write it down which partially defeats the object)showed as only medium strength!!
anyway just wanted to warn you all to be on your guard.Last year Tesco re printed all my vouchers as they thought my security had been compromised so rather worrying.

Uu Philip Kingsley moisture balancing conditioner, wnba, wasn't impressed with this at all, there are better, cheaper products available.

    Happy pampering, xo

Freshly squeezed shower gel - I bought this from a handmade stall with some bath bombs - I was really looking forward to using it but overall it was was disappointing - the smell it had although pleasant quickly disappeared - WNBA

TBS Small strawberry shaped soap - smell has long since disappeared - the 2 reamining ones are on the hit list for this month.

Colgare complete care toothpaste - WNBA have donated the remaining tube to DH washbag - I hated this it wasnt very minty and didnt leave my mouth feeling fresh.

My Lancome order from debenhams has just arrived - its mostly Christmas presents but came with free gifts so will declare when its all counted.

Another unexpected in was a free sample through the post of:
