  • I use the HSBC app every morning while the kettle is on! In a week it's become part of my daily routine and I sometimes check through the day too if I'm having a wobble. Much easier than faffing with an internet connection.

  • The Smile one is crap. It only lets you view the last few transactions and sends you a text when the balance is above or below a specified amount.

You can't do any transfers or payments or anything useful really.

  • When I had a smartphone I used the NatWest one. It was very useful and I'm finding it difficult now to move on without it.

I use the HSBC fast balance every morning to understand where I am on payments and the like.

The HSBC mobile app isn't that good to be honest.
  • I use HSBC, Halifax and Santander, all on a regular basis. I haven't had problems with any of them.
  • I use the Halifax app.

Love it. It's so quick. It lets me check my balance for both my debit and credit card. It even lets me submit a request for overdraft increases and lets me pay my credit card. I've come to rely on it loads and I check it every day.

In the past, I've also used the Natwest app, which is fantastic too. The only gripe I had was with the Coop Bank app. Aside from checking your balance, it wouldn't let you do much.

Used to have a NatWest account, and there app was great, but they then started restricting where you could withdraw cash from, and I live in a village with only one cash point, and I couldn't use it, so had to switch to coop, there app is very basic, only showing balances, you cant do anything else, but at least I can get cash from the cashpoint !!!!

I use the RBS App which I guess must be very similar to the Natwest app? I love it. It's very simple and straightforward to use. It will only let me send payments to recipients I have already paid through internet banking which is a great little feature security wise.

I also use the bank of Scotland app which when accessed is great but the log on is pretty fiddly and time consuming which puts me off logging in sometimes.
