Great news, moshoodo1. Your card will definitely come next week! :j

I got mine today. There was only a one day difference between getting the pin and card. They've given me a credit limit of £500 - which is pretty standard for a sub prime card.

I was reading the Aqua Reward card thread and noticed that quite a few people were claiming that when it came time for their credit limit increase, Aqua were only increasing it by a little. It's understandable as they don't want people taking advantage of the cashback too fast and stop using it for the remainder of the year. However, I don't think we'll have that problem. :)

EDIT: I've already activated it and set up a direct debit. They were very professional and pleasant on the phone. :T

    You're welcome, moshoodo1. :)

And yes, me too! I have a Vanquis card as well. I'm hoping to close that soon and replace it with my Aqua card. When I first got my Vanquis card, I had a £500 limit. Now it's £3000! I'm hoping something similar will happen with Aqua. Don't need £3000 but it would be nice to have at least £1700.

Activation process was simple. The phone call took about 2 minutes and I was asked to confirm my name, address, DOB and card details. The girl I spoke to told me the usual stuff when opening a credit card account (the statement date, fee for cash withdrawals, never leave your card lying around, and to let them know when you plan to use it abroad, ect ). She didn't try to sell me PPI or anything. Quite impressed!

There's an option to set up a direct debit online as well. But I did mine over the phone. I've already registered online and the website is very similar to the Vanquis one which I was pleased about.

How soon did you get your voucher? I only applied for this card to get the voucher and my second full payment came out of bank yesterday?

    Thanks
I applied for this card a 3-4 months back.

I posted on this very forum about it.

I got my £20 Amazon voucher last week and spent it no problem. I cancelled the card this week

Many people here with very good ratings have Aqua Reward.

I have a good credit rating. Good enough anyway for Barclaycard Platinum, Hilton Platinum Visa (from Barclaycard), HSBC Visa, Amex Gold and I still have a Aqua reward card. I've had a year's worth of 3% cash back, capped at £100 and also benefit from the fee free overseas transaction deal.
