Annual Energy Statement by the Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change
Thursday 31st October at c. 11.15am onwards*
To be presented by Rt Hon Edward Davey, MP, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change
How it works:
The coalition agreement between the Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties stated that the Government would give an Annual Energy Statement to Parliament which would set out strategic energy policy and guide investment.
The statement is expected to include an announcement on a governmental review of competition in the energy market
At the end of the statement, MPs can respond or question the government minister on its contents.
How to watch:
The Statement can be viewed on Parliament.tv (Silverlight or Windows Media Player required to stream TV), the Statement starts at 01:52:58 on the Player: http://www.parliamentlive.tv/Main/Player.aspx?meetingId=13974
