sky deal - too good to be true?

Yesterday I called sky to cancel my tv. I have just moved from bt to them for broadband but didnt want the tv. Anyway, after been offered 3 of the absolute best deals they could offer, the 4th was so good I couldnt turn it down. £3.75 a month for broadband £2.40 for line rental and £17.30 for the basic package. I called them back up tonight just to double check everything was good and they cant seem to find on the notes anything about the £2.40 a month line rental. Now the guy on the phone yesterday mentioned that price several times and I also confirmed several times that the monthly bill will be £23.45 to which he replied yes every time. But now they need to go back and listen to the conversation - all 40 minutes of it and see what was said. If they then turn round and say that was a mistake then my reply will be that I have also made a mistake and cancel the lot.

Could they have said £140 , as £140.40 is the annual line rental saver price ?

Just called them as I received a text from them saying all had been resolved. Said they couldnt match something up?? But now have FREE line rental for 12 months!! I will be calling them on broadband activation day to double check though
