Not sure if this will help but take it as a case history.
Couple married for 10 years then separated and divorced 18 months later.
3 kids, all hers and adopted by him
Property split was 70/30 in favour of her
She didn't make any claim on pension
Child support was £600 per month reducing as each child left full time education

You want to leave Mrs and the kids. So, she will be 24/7 carer and you will be 24/7 free, apart from contact.

You meet new lady - you have kids when they have contact. Most of time you will be alone with new lady.

Mrs meets new man - will be alone with new man when you have contact. Most of time she and new man will be with YOUR kids.

Mrs has day to day child care, if she works has to cope alone with childrens illnesses, day to day problems with homework and school. She has to cope with the kids upset over the divorce. She has to get up in the night, she has to get them to school etc., etc.

You say the deal outlined is not the best for you. Are you kidding?

I used to be a divorce lawyer, my advice to your wife would be to get some legal advice!
