Phone co-op let you have line only.
Pay 12 months in advance £120. Then 4.95 a month to include 24/7 calls including 0845, 0870 numbers.0 -
Do make sure she is not currently paying rental to BT for her handset - I have heard of a lot of (especially older) people being caught by this scenario going back years! Much cheaper to buy her own handset outright. My Mum is on a BT phone line only - after paying her line rental upfront for a year she only pays £5.15 per month for Anytime calls, plus a few very occasional & short charged calls (eg the plumber's mobile etc). I know BT get a lot of criticism but a lot of older folk do feel safe with the familiar company & there's not much to go wrong if you only have a phone with no BB, TV, etc added on.0

It is if your a newish customer. But legacy Unlimited Anytime Plan of £5.15 a month still applies to customers who were with them prior to last increase for new customers only.0 -
Yes - £5.15. I know for certain because I just got her latest bill. She's still on that fixed price until next spring. Then of course it will go up. But she gets her moneys worth when you consider she is housebound & can chat to all her friends (& me) for up to an hour at a time at no extra cost. Plus ring through her order to the village shop, make hospital/dental/hair appointments etc etc at any time of day.0
