My MIL does not have broadband and never will!!! So I am trying to find the best deal for her. She would prefer to have all calls included in the cost. She is currently with BT. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
Thanks

It would help if you said what she is currently paying BT, and for which tariff? What are her LLU options? Start with an exchange search on https://www.samknows.com.
All providers offer an Anytime calls package for about a fiver pm over the basic tariff. But that doesn't include mobile calls, if that's what you mean by 'all calls'?
Using Line Rental Saver is the other way to make a big saving. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
She pays about £450 a year, and she doesn't really ring mobile numbers.0

Thats £37.50 a month approx.
Even with BT Line Rental – £15.45 a month + £7 for inclusive calls beats it.
Post Office Homephone offer £12 line rental + £5.75 a month anytimecalls including weekend mobile calls.

Post Office option seems really good. Will speak to MIL later.0

£37.50pm?! She is possibly on an old, obsolete and very expensive tariff. If not, then she is making a huge number of exclusive calls. Unless you can look at the bill and tell, us, then hard to offer more advice, since we don't know how she is racking up these huge bills.
But she should easily be able to get line rental and an Anytime package for little more than £20pm, even if staying with BT (as above). Using Line Rental Saver will reduce that by a further £44.40 pa. so around £18.75pm.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Have a look at IDNET.
Line rental is £12.00/month
Unlimited Calls option is £6.00/month.
Total is £18.00/month paid monthly, and only a 1 month contract.
Pay in advance for 12 months and the price is £198.00, equivalent to £16.50/month.Disclaimer

Post office changed networks recently.
They now are resellers of talk talk.0 -
As I understand it though for just landline you stay on the normal openreach infrastructure rather than talk talks equipment. Havnt had cause to call them since signing up so can't comment on customer service yet although did read call times could be lengthy. From memory, there's no minimum contract length with post office0
