whyhave you got to eat it for the rest of the month? why can't you leave it in the freezer longer?
We do a monthly shop and because we are spending a large chunk of the budget on the llamb I can't really stretch to buying any other meat. We will probably have some veg based dinners too but that's it. I don't mind too much though, especially as I should be able to make it last longer than a month.0 -
Hopefully a lot longer! Unless you've a big family that should run for a few months.
I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...
I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!0 -
Breast of lamb can be a tricky cut to find recipes for, so can I just put in a good word for this recipe?

We put 2 or 3 home grown lambs from our farm in the freezer every year. If someone is butchering this for you, I would recommend asking them to mince all the stewing bits of lamb. I find them hard to cook with and lamb mince is always useful. The shoulder chops are goods for stews/casseroles. I just hate having to deal with big lumps of stewing lamb!!0
