    Morning all,

Thank you again for your support it means such a lot xx

Beautiful day here got the first of 2 loads in the wm, will get them hung out today, they are almost drying, and a night on the airer finishes them off. No heating here yet either, but dont think it will be long.

Dinner tonight is breast of lamb with roasties stuffing and veg. I also need to pop into work to drop off my time sheet.

    Have good days all xx
  • Camelot, they only notice when we stand next to the shelf where we keep the fish food.
We have the heating on here, I got cold on Monday, not at home, but wandering round the timber merchants and I stiffened up and had very painful joints, so I do wear layers but put the heating on as soon as I feel I need it.

  • Good morning everyone :)

Gosh it's chilly here today but am still resisting putting the heating on. Not sure we will last out much longer but let's see.

redruby - I am so glad all went well yesterday, you did your dad proud. Love and hugs to you and your family x

LW - I have asked DD to take photos of Halloween costumes so hope to have some to share later in the week. Your Mr Toad costume was a brilliant idea!

No real plans for today, probably resting and tidying up after GDD's visit, she is absolutely lovely but extremely exhausting.

I need to go into Manchester tomorrow to meet my new boss for lunch. When I am off work, I usually try anything to avoid that drive but this time I will make an exception :rotfl:

Well wishes for all sick people and pets and hugs for anyone who needs or just wants them. Keep well and safe and have a super day :)

    Morning all!

Went out for dinner with work last night - amazing, £9.25 for 3 tapas dishes, ciabatta and a glass of wine! Will go there again that's for sure.

Online shop done for the first couple of weeks of Nov. Spent £36, which should keep us in dinners and soup for a while, I shop. Money is going to be tight this month, but for great great reasons :)

Not much planned for this evening. Fish cakes and HM wedges for dinner, will have a long bath too I think!

    Hope everyone is well x

  • Morning (((((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))))if you need one.

OH has decided that he can do without his second crutch, says his foot is much better, just the ankle that hurts, fine in the house, but I would rather he uses 2 crutches outside for a bit longer.

Have to take him for his INR blood test in a short while, need to pick up his script from the chemist whilst we are in the village.

Sun shining, an extra load of laundry out on the line, it should just about dry, might have to put some of the thicker cotton stuff on the airer to finish off.

Heat on for an hour this morning, sun is shining into the front of the house, so sitting room getting the benefit.

Sausage taken out for sausage casserole tonight, with mash and veg. Need to use up cauli and some carrots. Will put another pot of soup on later, leek and lentil I think........

    Morning all,

nice and bright here but a bit chilly to say the least. Beds are stripped and bedding being laundered as I type.

Grandbaby fast asleep in his cot as his Mum has gone to the gym. When he's gone i'll get the vacuum out. Washing up is piling up in the sink but i'll get round to it when 'Youngest' has done his breakfast, or else i'll end up cleaning up twice.

Did I tell you weve been invited to a birthday meal in just over a week. Its being held in a hotel and we will be staying overnight. Now hubby will be wearing his usual formal ensemble but i'm fretting over what to wear. Do I buy a new dress? I really could do with a new coat. Ive got £60 saved in Debenhams vouchers but its not really going to go far is it?

Nothing else to add really, Grandbaby is winding up for a feed so i'd best get moving before he starts screaming for his bottle.

    Have a good day all.
