Yes, I would expect a deposit would have to be paid, but then any business that doesn't accept payment methods that have been around for a good few years now and are expected by most customers will also find those customers opting to use a more accommodating business.

I wouldn't worry abut the photographs going wrong. It's the marriage/rest of your life you want to be more concerned about. A credit card guarantee on that would be brilliant, but not available unless you go via the excellent Thai Brides website.
