LPG - renew your contract and save ££££

Four years ago (when it became possible) I switched supplier and negotiated a price reduction from c. 45p per litre to 33p per litre.
Unfortunately I was an idiot, and when the two year contract was up, I didn't renegotiate and start a new contract. As a consequence my most recent invoice was at 62.3p per litre, an increase of 89% over 4 years.
To cut a long story short, I have spoken with my supplier and negotiated a new 2 year contract, starting at 40p per litre fixed for 12 months, plus a revision of my most recent invoice to from 62.3p to 40p and £100 of free gas for signing. :j :T
MORAL: As soon as your 2 year contract is up, sign up for a new one, even if it is with the same supplier. And save £100s.
Note: This is apparently the way the LPG market works. Apparently the average customer stays for 7 years - 2 years of loss-leader priced gas followed by an average of 5-years of above-market priced gas.
