  • Anyone buying the next gen version, but not buying the current gen first, is, In My opinion, making a mistake.

Current gen retails at £40, you then pay £10 to upgrade to the next gen version. (Total cost, £50)

The next gen version is set to retail at £60.

Buy now in current gen, and upgrade will save you money.

Where did you pull the £60 figure from?

Going by your formula; The next gen copy retails on Amazon for £48 and current gen £40. So surely buying current gen and then paying £10 to "upgrade" is actually more costly.

Next gen Ghosts is £49.99 in Game.

Current gen is £44.99, plus the £10 to upgrade it to next gen is £54.99.

Buying next gen from the get go is cheaper.

plus the upgrade just involves a download version i believe. so not good if you prefer having the disc.
  • If your item doesn't arrive on release day/promised day as pre-ordered, contact Amazon through chat and complain. I received a £3 credit for Football Manager 2014 that didn't turn up on release as promised. Every little helps. :)

If you use the upgrade feature you still need to insert the PS3 disc to be able to play the PS4 version of the game.
