    Well that was mostly down to the excellent advice from this place. 29th October I posted, and we were done in 2 and a half months.

    As you can probably tell from this thread, I was always going to put up a fight, but my girlfriend wasn't as keen and didn't really want the hassle - she was going to pay the £30 but left it too late!!

    I'd point out again, that she's an NHS worker who has to pay for a permit anyway, and simply forgot to display it one day - so no loss to the hospital anyway - and got a £60 FINE for the trouble. It's still a rip off, but at least we've won this battle :)
