Due to the fact I am uncertain what my friend did is legal I can neither confirm or deny thats the casino I was in.
On an unrelated subject the James Martin restaurant in Manchester 235 is very goodThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I wasn't trying to find out if that was the place in question (there are probably loads of similar places around the area). That was the first one that appeared on Google when doing a search for casino + restaurant.
The link was only to show that some casinos do allow people in without them having to be members.0 -
Fair enough. I retract my previous post. But there will have been rules and T&Cs there for all players. But if you are after legal advice, I'd suggest a legal forum as this is not a consumer rights issue. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

If you didn't know the answer to my question I wish you had left this thread alone as opposed to accusing me of lying and then telling me i'm posting on the wrong forum.
I suppose any excuse for you to have a dig at me.....This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Surely a customer of a casino is a consumer of the service that they are providing, and the question being asked is do they have the right to keep the money given to them, hence it's a consumer rights question.0 -
I gave you the answer. It's in the T&Cs of the casino. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Criminal law? No. Any claim would be a civil one (which I said)One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

No you originally pointed me towards post 5 which said
"If a bank gives you money by mistake you are committing a criminal offence if you knowingly spend it, it's called "retaining wrongful credit" this could be a very similar thing."
You have since changed your position and have switched to referencing the T's & C's (which you don't actually have) and are saying its a civil not a criminal case.
I am under the impression that you have nothing constructive to contribute to my thread. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
