Scratch card win

I will probably get flamed for posting this, it is totally non-MSE, but here goes anyway - I am still shaking. I won £5000 on a scratch card last night
:):).
I will start by saying that it came at the end of a really cr4p week. OH is in hospital - not life threatening - but he will be out of action for about 8 weeks. DD and DS (3 and 1) are both poorly. Again, nothing serious, DD has a cold, DS is emitting from both ends
, and they are generally hot, bothered and miserable.
I went to visit OH in hospital and on the way back bought three scratch cards. The girl that served me was so busy talking to her colleague that she gave me the wrong ones, but I just took them anyway. I did them last night, expecting nothing (not even sure why I bought them). I won £1 on the first (yippee), and then £5000 on the second. The neighbours must have wondered what was happening I screamed so loud. I barely slept a wink and was at the Post Office the moment they opened. I was so sure that it was going to turn out to be some awful mistake, but it wasn't. They checked and copied my I.D, I had to wait around for what felt like ages, while they contacted Camelot and verified the ticket, and that was it - I walked out of there clutching a cheque for £5000
.
It is now in the bank and I still can't quite believe it. Hubby doesn't even know yet, I am waiting until visiting time so that I can see his face when I tell him.
I am so happy :j.
