That wouldn't give me much confidence in his willingness or ability to pay if you agree to a private arrangement!0 -
I have no intention of dropping the csa. This isn't even about them deep down its a way of trying to regain the power over me he once had.The feeling i got when i confirmed my place studying criminology at Exeter Uni was brilliant!!!!!

I ignored it but rang them up asap. I explained and they said they'd ring back. 10 mins later they phoned. And told me;
1) He has not rang them at all in almost two years.
2) The DEO is still running with no changes.
3) A check with tax office (IR) shows him as still very much employed.
4) Quick phone call to his work confirms he is currently off sick, followed by annual leave.
I doubt that the CSA have the right to pass on all of this information to you, it appears that they are willing to breach the Data Protection Act. Informing you that he is off sick and then taking annual leave is irrelevant, they should not be passing on those details to the PWC.0 -
Slight misunderstanding but he had already told me this himself. So i put it to them, but yeah can see what you mean.
In previous months they have actually told me he was in receipt of ssp. They once even sent a letter to my uncles house, regarding my ex and payment details!!!! My uncle went bananas at them!! Turns out it was an error due to my mum having a CSA claim live when we lived there briefly years ago!!!! They change rules to suit the scenario. But i agree, they shouldn't give me info on him even if i already knew. The feeling i got when i confirmed my place studying criminology at Exeter Uni was brilliant!!!!!

Hi everyone, Gingergee my pwc has sounds identical to yours.
He is currently having money deducted via a DEO from his employers. His employers are erratic in paying on time and my MP has written to CSA, also CSA have said they have sent employer a letter threatening prosecution. I have no idea what the contents of this letter would be.
My biggest worry is when I have to migrate to CSA3, I have been subjected to DV and the absent parent doesnt ever want to see his 3 kids. What will happen to the DEO when I have to migrate?
Any advice please.0 -

I don't think you'll have to worry about your current case closing for quite a while, probably nearer 2017. If he is currently on a DEO then it is likely he'll be on a DEO on the 2012 system too.0 -
Apologies for not understanding but what's a dv?
My case is plodding along. He paid 400 at end of December and told the csa that he was back in employment and wanted to make payment to avoid arrears. This was the friday before christmas and he was in a rush so they didnt get any details from him. Since then he sent me an email stating that he has been trying to nake payments via his card to csa but they wont accept them. He then said they told him we need to make an agreement between ourselves. So asked for my bank details.
I rang csa who told me he had not contacted them. Now they have sent two letters asking for new employer details and rang him numerous times, and he is ignoring them. They did a dwp trace and it showed he is employed. They have now requested info from inland revenue. They told me its basically like ive started a new claim. They have to redo what they did at the beginning of my claim.
Luckily i learnt to not rely on that money (thanks to you guys who advised me of this years ago).
They also said as he is being awkward chances are he will be back
on deo.
