    Good Evening,

Glad all went well Red Ruby.
Had a lovely walk first thing by the river and then a bit of scrumping. Most of the apples have been picked so it was mainly the drops we took, but the pears have been left to rot on the trees. Its a dreadful waste, I believe it is because they don't come up to EU standards. So had some for the freezer as they are just on the cusp of being overripe.

It's half term so DS2 had purloined my laptop for most of the afternoon, it has W8 so he has been playing games while I attempted to make a sock giraffe. Not as easy as the monkey, to say the least!

Did bog standard chicken and veg for dinner tonight and I'd made some chocolate buns earlier so that's pudding sorted :)

    Have a good evening.

    Evening All

Cold with showers today but the sun was out a few times which was nice. Really busy at work making props for Friday's firework assembly. Came home covered in paint!

Tea was lovely - Toad in the hole with some lovely sausages I bought in Costc0 a while ago, italian style I think and very tasty. DD wanted onion gravy but ended up with leek gravy as there were a couple of sad ones in the fridge - seemed to hit the spot just the same.

Contacted Solicitor and he has chased everyone up regarding the house sale and purchase, should all be happening a week on Friday but it's not looking good, don't know if I can cope with the house as it is!

Heard from DS2, he is heading to Laos tomorrow having been in Thailand for 10 days, seems to be ok and enjoying himself.

RR - Big hugs to you, your Darling Dad would be proud.
I was going to comment on someone elses post but can't remember who or what now!!

Anyone 'seen' JackieO? Hope you're ok Jackie, let us know as I'm missing your family chat.

Take care and stay dry. XX
