Hiya - Ive been a member of these boards since January 2013 and my LBM and normally I am very focused. I have had a few very tough weeks emotionally/physically and mentally and I feel totally drained and fed up. Dare I say it...depressed (I've been here before needing tablets/counselling so it's a scary place for me).
I really really want to plough all of my spare cash into paying my debt and meeting my target for this year but right now I just want to go and splurge! Not in anything in particular, just things that make me feel good!!!
Would really appreciate a cyber hug or a good kick up the butt!!!

NYD x

I'm going for the kick up the butt !!!
Look at those figures crossed out. A splurge may make you feel good today but typing bigger numbers in the wrong columns won't tomorrow.
You have come so far this year !! Feel proud of yourself !! Keep at it !! You can do this !!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Big hugs to you xx I am in the same place so I know how horrible it is. Take care of yourself.
Your signature is amazing be very proud of what you have achieved0 -
Maybe find a way of being kind to yourself that doesn't involve spending lots of money - I know easier said than done but Good Luck you are clearly trying hard on a difficult path.0

You will feel a dam sight better once those debts really start coming down. Once your debt free, you can splurge as much as you like, and think how good that will feel - being able to splurge without worrying about debts!0

I agree with posters who say look at your signature. Print it off and stick it on your fridge, bathroom mirror and in your wallet! Every time you look at it be INCREDIBLY proud.0

You are doing so well treat yourself to a lovely bubble bath. Wash your hair and and pamper yourself. Then brush yourself off and pick yourself up. xx Lots of Hugs.sealed pot challenge 099

Big hugs. You've done amazingly well. There wouldn't be many people who pay £300 a week of their debt, week in, week out.
How about, instead of buying a thing or two, buying an experience instead? E.g. enrolling in a cooking class or art class, or whatever interests you? Or going away for a few days with friends or family?
Maybe divide your "debt paying back" money up, along the lines of 90% for the debt, 10% for me? You can do a lot with £30 a week. Maybe it doesn't buy many things, but it would stretch to a fair few experiences.0
