    Depends how long you want to go for - there are lots of German cities with several markets, or you may be worth going for a city that is near other towns/cities so you can visit several.
    Personally this year we are going to Bremen this year because it is the quickest to get to from London (short flight from Stansted and then its a short tram ride into the city centre/market. The flights were also really cheap and it means we can go for just the one night. But I'm fully aware its not the biggest (or probably the best) market there.

    Miost likely Mon-Fri. I don't want the hassle of traveling to an airport outside of GLA or EDI. At the other end, don't want to be looking at much onward travel either.

    We've done 6 different markets in Germany + you would be unlucky to pick a bad one. For sheer quantity you could go to Berlin + add in a day trip to Potsdam. For pure Christmas magic, we found Munich to be the best. If you're staying a week, you could probably factor in a trip to Nuremberg too. Be warned though, you will be very cold!!
