I've got a bloke coming round tonight who is going to charge me £450 for the 3 venues. He would normally charge £550 but I'm a referral from my cousins wedding at the weekend so I get a £100 discount. So maybe if your going to any weddings before yours you should ask for a discount from the photographer.

We used a semi professional photographer and we only paid £270 for the whole day. That included 26 prints aswell and all our photos on CD. We have some fantastic pictures too, some were rubbish but that was more to do with the look on my face at the time!

We are paying £500 for 20 8x6 in a leather album, with ALL pictures taken on a high resolution DVD with no copyright. Not the cheapest quote we had but the nicest person and impressive portfolio.

The copyright was important to us as we didn't want family to have to pay for reprints etc and we can make our own parent albums.

You should shop around some more, £2195 is stupidly high, that's almost half our entire budget! Good luck :o

I am paying £320 for coverage from me getting ready till the first dance, for that we are just getting all the images taken (400-600) on a CD untouched with full copyright.

I can alter images myself with photoshop if I want to, and you can do a harback photobook online for £20-30.
