Hi Guys Got IE on pc but cannot get webpage?
I downloaded W10 firstafter clean instal,, seemed ok,then lost it, no page showing , so re-downloaded, Vista9 version, but it said , Cannot because a newer version is installed,so cannot continue but, it,s not working.
Both Goes to page, but blank?
there,s 2 in programs? ,in start > IE showing, both launch, but webpage not responding? Tried windows solve, but no good.
How do I remove both and start again, they are not in instal/unintsal, or get one working
?Any advice grateful.:beer:
PS;Managed to remove from Downloads,presume they,ve gone, try to redownload w10

Try installing Firefox or Chrome.

If I understand you, go to "programs and FEatures" in control panel and look under "turn windows features on and off", or under "uninstall a program" select the "show updates" button where you can uninstall IE10 - I think.

Hi Guys, thanks or replies.
!; Got Chrome bu tneed IE, because printer /camera / needs it to operate. Just tried to installed printer drivers, but cannot see,it, or use it, as it is via IE, and it goes to IE, but webpage is blank??? .

Tried again t download IE10, from CNET, but got a load of Dross as well, had to take off to see if it was installed ok originally ,but it say,s "cannot because I have a later version".??
The latest version is IE11,as far as I know, and that,s not on,?( I, think), because 9& 10 were in recent downloads. but there must be a version on, for it to say that?

IE 10 has one other major installation problem. It only works on Windows 8 and Windows 7.

Hi D, I,ve got 7, just installed it.
I sometimes get MSN homepage up, but will not browse. page not responding, ask windows to fix, sends me round in a loop? How do I remove IE altogether, and try to put another version of IE on.?What version should I put on, IF and when, I can remove whatever version is on?
Cannot do without it,

Hi espresso, I,ve clicked on download IE19, again from D ,slink,and started via Windows store.
Then it said, some files in use, restart pc.

Personally I would use Drecrapify here on your system to remove all traces of AOL junkware as it is simply not necessary and causes various problems like you have experienced.

I tried to put my printer on this morning, went fine, until it asked if I wanted to see ink levels, before it was complete.That,s when it, went wrong.it took me to blank IE page , so didn,t know if instal completed, but icons were there, tried them, and they took me to blank nIE page?????
i,ve just turned pc back to another restore point(,yesterday), taking that the attempt off, and the Crap that IE re- download attempt this morning ,and now it won,t exe, says \ is not valid Win 32 application, but it was this morning.
I,ve just loaded drivers for camera, fine, but, now cannot put printer on.
I,ve also done Sons, and it,s loading on his, Identical clean instal.

Hi WTFH, NO I cannot access IE at all, even thiought it says it,s on pc.
My printer is NOT now on pc, as , when It failed this morning, I turned PC back to last restore point, Yesterday, which took it off again.The main reason for turn back, was the tolbars that came with IE, s attempt to re-download, was still on chromes bowser, and still is, so restore, didn,t shift it, just stopped me putting printer drivers back on.
Sorry if that doesn,t make sense.

It went on this morning, now, getting the Win 32 error???
But cameras loaded after it.?
And the printer disk, works on sons, got them both .Double clean instal

Have you run a System Restore to before the time that you installed IE10?

Did you download it manually or did it come with Windows Updates?
