Love it :D and best of all the cat just sits there curled up! :rotfl: who did eat the biscuits?? You need to submit it to you've been framed and earn some money out of it, to pay for the next lot of cooking!

The cat is an idiot.. he has a lovely nature, so loving and gentle...

This is what we have all day every day in here.. they are hilarious but so cheeky.. it is cute though esp Dot 'I eated it!' It was my own fault for storing them in there but I didn't think they could open the oven.. I know better for next time.

OH's gloves for sword class have arrived so he is done. I also got a random box of stuff to sort and tomorrow I need to take the boots my mother has got Moomin in to have the raise added. I need to sort her an orthotics appointment for after Christmas too.. and podiatry for Tiddles.. not sure when they are next meant to be there.. February I think.

What would you do today if you didn't really do any housework this week but want to make the house presentable and a little easier to do next weeks tasks?

I haven't done much either. I'd concentrate on

    Tidying/putting away
Hoover through any floor that needs it
    clean toilets and sink

Back from cricket trials, traffic awful as M25 still closed and I needed to go past two junctions. DS3 in a bad mood.

Come home DS1 in a fouler mood and realise that there has been some damage to the roof in the storm last week, I knew I'd heard something tumbling down above our bedroom.

Going to put my gardening clothes on and get some relaxing fresh air sweeping leaves.

There you are Coffee Queen - excellent advice.

As our friend Toots often reminded new Flyladies - your home didn't get in a mess in a day and you won't clear it in a day.
Add in some dot-to-dotting and you'll be joining PenPen in 'Operation Showhome'.

as for me - been to help friend - promise made before life got utterly hectic but I don't renege;)

    Cat loo cleaned out
    Laundry washed and dried

need to iron and strip my bed.

I won't 'officially' be in before Christmas, now, but no doubt I will pop in from time to time.

Dancemum, I hope they sort your dad out and that your mum is OK.

Pigpen, those two little girls are just gorgeous! Little minxes I'm sure, but just gorgeous.

Had a busy morning in the garden. I cut the grass although it was really too wet and too long but for various reasons we hadn't managed to get it done before. The problem is that it faces north so over the late autumn and winter months it never dries out. I also dead headed the pansies in the tubs and baskets and swept up.

I also took the mean green steam clean machine up to the bathroom and got all the nooks and crannies clean. Just need to do the bath, basin and loo and vac the floor.

Feeling pleased with the progress but very sore!

CoffeeQueen I agree with Dusty - tidying up, hoovering round, and wiping bathroom over always helps the house look presentable in limited time

    So far today:

    WM x 2
    Weekly shop done
Spiced parsnip and cauliflower soup made
    Dishes washed

Now need to get on with some paperwork and clean the bathroom. First time to make another cuppa!

Managed a few chores in the back garden and emptied the grate, restocked the log basket and topped up the log store too.

I would have done more but a shower is now passing over so time for a cuppa and clothes labelling.

I may pop back out or into town, oh great no milk. Child will go and get some.

More tidying and sorting going on here. I have a box of kitchen gibble that I need to put up in the attic but I'm foxed as to how to deal with the contents to make them make sense.

    Dancemum
, I hope both you and your parents get through this health hiccup calmly and smoothly.

Pigpen, I laughed and laughed and laughed. Thank you so much for sharing the video.
    Better is good enough.
