Now that the nights are drawing in you could sort, label, index and catalog them all.
I've been promising myself I'll do that sometime for at least 10 years. They aren't even properly sorted let alone catalogued.

I had also considered eBay in the past but really cba to put a listing together to sell something at probably 2p profit after fees and post or more likely not at all - anybody got a use for several ISA network cards - probably 10Mbps ones and certainly no drivers - perhaps a dozen or so kettle leads some of which may well be defective - etc. etc.

thanks for replies. Yes I have sorted them out!
not worth the hassle of selling them on ebay...as it seems just as cheap to buy a cable these days.
will keep some or see if the local refuse depo has a recycle bin for electrical parts etc.

Do what everyone does... Put them in a box box marked "cables" that every-time you need to move or dog though you swear "I'll organize this soon" before shoving it back into the loft or whatever cupboard space you ram it in and forget about it, until the next time where you repeat the process...

I keep mine, use them for projects later on.

My 4yr old Sony phone charger has had it's connector removed and a USB connector soldered in it's place, it now charges my HTC phone when i'm at work. Used to use my PC, but some fool sent an email hoax around one day, about phones passing on viruses to PCs and enough people fell for it.
