We've got a Waitrose closest then a Sainsburys. Thankfully the local friendly Asian corner shops and Tesco are only near the BTL.

Interesting the article cites Sandbanks in Dorset.
When I was a child we used to holioday there and we used to frequent teh Waitrose in West Cliff. It was something of a novelty to us from up north. Mind you supermarkets were full stop.
We have a Waitrose and Aldi equidistant. The Aldi is far busier, usually contains the same 63 plate German metal on the car park with shoppers packing volumes of produce into Waitrose carriers."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... While using Aldi for items such as fruit and veg. We've started giving our meat custom to a newly opened local butchers. Got to say well worth the extra expense. Even if we buy less. Taste makes all the difference.0

That's what needs to go back in the city centre these days. I'm glad HMV and Dixons have had their day.
Tesco seems to be floundering. I hope it all comes full circle tbh.0 -

We have Waitrose nearest followed by Lidl then Morrisons with both One Stop and Londis equidistant.
All these are within 15 mins of our dwelling - spoilt for choice.
