Anyway, I've been keeping myself busy outside of MSE and DFW. Family things have been really getting to me and ive been getting physical symptoms of stress: horrific headaches, blackened eyes and hair loss (not to the point of baldness tho!). So going on what my counsellor told me a while back, I've been keeping myself with hobbies.

I've been working onmy first propper try at taxidermy. It's an albino adult rat. Made a few mistakes whilst skinning, but its expected of a novice. Also made a new friend in my taxidermy supplies chap. Lovley wee man from Wales has been giving me pointers and such and helps me in the choice of things I need (like what size of glass eyes ect).

Anyhoo, that's about it really. I'll be back to ebaying soon, but I think I was getting a bit stressed with that due to postal strikes and things STILL not having been delivered since 4th of October.

I'd better go get my bath whilst I wait for a call about my tetanus jag.

Taxidermy is an unsual hobby. What got you interested in that?

I've always been a craft person and a biology buff. I guess seeing animals in museums started it off. I wanted to know more and understand how it coud be that an animal which is now deceased, is standing before me looking like it could move at any second. I read up on taxidermy for a long time, joined some taxidermy communities and finally decided to take the plunge.

gotta go get some bits and bobs bought so I can mount this wee chap later tonight. Toodles for now x

Short and sweet.

Family problems, loads of them.
Had a near break-up experience with the bf, recovering from that. It's knocked me for six truth be told.
The self employment light is beginning to fade.
Can't find a job for love nor money.

Generally, I've been pretty !!!!. If it wasn't for sugarcubed telling me on msn that the forum was down, I wouldn't have known. I'll try to pick myself up and get back and post more regularly, but right now, I could really do with running away
