Yay gho you! That's great news about ebay - That site has now paid for my house deposit and hopefully will pay off a few of my debts too! Sounds like you're whizzing through stuff - don't forget it's half price listing day today as well. I'd list a shed load, but it's all boxed up...

How your mum's house thing gets sorted - never heard of an estate agent and a lawyer getting physical - would pay good money to see that, especially if there was a mortgage broker involved as well.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

Thanks alot hon (I've been steadily making my way through reading your diary, I've gotten so far as the saddo-stalker lol)
I have two pendant & necklace lots to put up, four rings and a gents earing. Just waiting on the pictures comming my way, so I'll start jotting the auction details down now.

RE mums house. It's not getting sorted at all. It's been put back on the market again and the estate agent says he'll not be paying for advertising this time. So I need to look into ways of getting some advertising for the house for mum. It's all a bit mental and bless her, she broke down the other day when it all kicked off between the lawye and estate agent.

Ontop of all this, my youngest cat is in heat. MEOWING the house down and stinking the place up (I've got all the windows open now!), so she's on hers and I've just gotten mine. lol. Eldest cat has retreated to the box ontop of the wardrobe.

Hows you anyway hon? Still working for yourself? Congratulations about baby too xx:T

After having to go to my mums to RESCUE her from the baby mouse that was strutting around her livingroom (my sister and I named it dobby cotton), I came home and ebayed some more.

Good news! Three items in total sold today AND paid. So things are looking good and spirits are lifted slightly. I think I might have a celebratory bath tonight. I've been wearing the same clothes (except pants, socks and bra) for the past three days to spare the washing . If this were a cartoon, I'm sure I'd have green stink lines comming off me by now. So, scrubby dub it is.

    Here's how things are looking:

I'm hopefull that I'll be able to reach the £500 for my mum pretty quickly. I've already taken £200 out of paypal to my bank so that I know she'll have that to go away with.

Soooo tired. Hope you're all well (sorry I've been quiet today, been busy in ebay land) xx

Cheers hon x I'd be suprised if you're not making loads with thoose texts! :rotfl:

    Update
I am now suffering my first scammer. I've just had someone email me to say the following:
" [FONT=Arial, Verdana]hi. i just recieved this item today had it checked out and was told that this is actually gold plated and not 9ct white gold diamond pendant and necklace as you stated in your ad. Can you please tell me why this is?"

the composition of the scentence alone left me suspicious, well, that and the fact that my jewellery comes from high street jewellers! Anyway, I responded and asked for the necklace to be returned so I can have it checked out (I checked my other identical item and it's all hallmarked saying 9ct white gold and diamonds). I'm not looking forward to my first buyer altrercation. BVGGER!

That's awful about the ebay scammer  . I am sure they are just trying it on, and you will get things sorted pretty quickly.

You are on an ebay roll though, and you will have far more good stuff happen to you than crap, so chin up and look forward x

I don't now, but I sued to sell autographs on Ebay (genuine, no I didn't write thme myself). When I got scammers, I used to tell them to send the item back and I'd have it verified at a cost to them. If it was false I would refund them, if not I kept the extra. I never did get any back in the end heh

Yup trying to stay positive, although untill I get the necklace back and have it tested, I'm bricking it. I can't afford a red dot this early in to my selling.

Well, I told him if he sends it back I'll take it to an independant broker, have them test it and write up a certificate of valuation. If he's right about the whole thing being gold plated I'll offer a full refund. If not, it's getting posted right back to him.
