    I agree with the other posters - you really do have to close the Bank of Mum & Dad - give them notice that with effect from now, there will be no advances on their wages, and that offspring no 1 who is not working has to hand over half of whatever JSA s/he receives AND you expect her/him to pull their weight around the house!

    No "treats", no overnight guests - basics only unless they start pulling their weight!

    It's tough and I am just about to get a returner!!! But this time I am not giving any money and he will work for his keep. If he wishes to walk around smelly or not help or expect to just pitch up from his room to et he will be out and we have made it quite clear.
    Also we have decorated once they both went and I will not tolerate it getting messed up t brought laziness.
    Living the dream and retired in Cyprus :j
