Sorry I didn't update yesterday. My neighbour crashed her car into my garden wall and I spent 2 hours cleaning up after her accident so wasn't in the mood.
She completely annihilated my whole front wall, the bricks were to the front door and all my wheelie bins, and she stopped just before she went through my living room window!:eek:0 -

Anyway had a wake up call when I got back from my DH grandad's funeral yesterday to find that my CC payment had bounced which has never happened before - luckily DH covered it (was going to lie but glad I didn't - he was a star!!). It was the £24 in fees that stung the most!! But enough is enough - £10 a day from now til easter (trying to get at least half in cash) means it can be gone!! So I'm back with a vengeance
Got a new contract at the school - only 12.5 hours a week but its a start, although I don't get paid til the 15th!! Will be enough to stop my account being rubber, at least!! Carers owe me money for the summer so will ring them and rant later. And I finally have a tax code so hopefully can claw back some overpayments there too!!
Anyway waffle over, head is out the sand, and am kicking off November with 30p from Trailer Apps!
Yey how lovely to see you back Xansmum - have been thinking of you often!!
re the CC fee - it might be worth ringing and saying you have never had payment bounce before and having a difficult time atm with finance/funeral etc - many companies will refund if you just talk to them - i finally got my mum to do it the other week and they couldn't have been nicer and refunded no problem xxxDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go
