I spend my LVs in A$da, mavvymoo, just like any other coupon. I have vague memories of one cashier feeling the need to confirm their acceptance with a supervisor once, but I've never really had a problem with it.

Thanks for this SpecialBrew I will spend them in Mr A or I think Mr M takes them too. :)

Debt free and Mortgage free thank you to all for your encouragement and advice

  • Hope you have an amazing time Emmaglet nowt wrong with being a bit deep now and again, good luck with your blogging, sounds like you are doing brilliant, I've had various blogs over the years and keep saying I'd like to do a money saving one, perhaps realistically I should set myself the goal of starting it in the new year, could be good to make some money that way :)

I've added £2.90 today, £2.50 for selling a little Xmas tray and cup on fb, and 40p for overestimating eBuy postage.

I've made a £1 sale tonight on fb (my friends are really taking the mick out of me for some of the stuff I'm selling! But I think every little helps :)) and I've done a foresty type survey and booked another Mystery shop, I should imagine both of these will go into next month now. I have a busy day at work tomorrow but also have two ms assignments, they are my favourite type though, as they include a (ok v small) reimbursement for stuff I would be buying anyway.

Too tired to stick my wii on for sale tonight, maybe tomorrow. I have a non paying buyer so far from this weekend but I have 45 watchers across 6 items ending this week, it has been rare for my random collections of stuff to get that much interest so fingers crossed.

Hope everyone has a great few days, thanks for the continued inspiration x

And my first payment from the shy forest people of £3 luncheon vouchers :D Can anyone please tell me where you can spend them as these are a another thing I have not seen for years and years  Mav x

I think quite a few restaurant chains take them like Bell* and I'm sure Gr*ggs the Bakers does as well. Worth a look on Google but check up to date info as some 3/4 years old. Enjoy !!

Hope you all have a money-making week

    Good morning everyone :)

Aesop thanks as always for this great thread

Tattycath hope all ok with you, don't get down just start again in a few weeks.

I love reading all the updates on how well you are all doing.

This morning I can add from ebay £15.38

Wombling in a car park yesterday
    earned me ..................Boots points .32
spotted a woman staring at me lifting the
    voucher :):):) so what !!

    Refund ..................................................... 16.00

    clearing out paperwork found a
    Love to Shop voucher!!!!!
from shop and scan for 10.00

    So total is.................................................. £41.70

really pleased with this and have made a decision to return an item that I purchased last week..a very expensive pair of leather gloves. I don't need them and the money refunded will go towards groceries this weekend. Won't be adding to my total but its something we all could look at doing if possible.

Onwards and upwards. Need to get my act together as I need to list items on ebay.

    take care all.

Re what I said yesterday about spending LVs in A$da, I think I read somewhere recently that your shopping must include at least one food item for LVs to be acceptable as vouchers which can be taken off the cost of everything else. Not entirely sure how true this is, but given their name it makes some sense (to my knowledge no one has ever tucked into a tasty treat of a pair of Smartprice pillowcases and a yellow stickered toilet brush for lunch :) ), so I thought I'd better mention it to save embarrassment for anyone at the checkout :)

I didn't see your post until after I'd submitted mine, Aesop. That's a very useful link, but for some reason my 'Thanks' button has disappeared. Please consider yourself thanked anyway :)
