Gutted, I have to go to a solicitor tomorrow and get a letter drawn up, I'll leave £300 lighter :( rubbish.

Going to try and win all that back somehow this month.

Sometimes you MUST spend Nat and it sounds to me its justified on this occasion. Many years ago I had a similar sort of problem as I think you might have.
It was worth every penny I spent :D

Good luck and I am sure you will make it back

    A few bits to add:

    £5 pay out from SBs
    21p roadkill
£40 Gumtree sale (wardrobe - sorted really easily, lady collected no problem, love it when they're straightforward)
£2 Gumtree sale not so straightforward but got there in the end.

So £65 on Gumtree so far this month.

    New total is £76.26

Have a few more Gumtree sessions lined up but won't count my chickens yet, waiting for another £5 from SBs and must must must get some clothes listed on FB.

I did a mystery shop yesterday - it's normally £6, but I decided to wait before signing up to it, and I got an email saying a bonus had been added making it £15! There was a small purchase (£2.99) that I could return at a later date, but I really don't have any time at all before we go away.

I ordered a Kenwood K-mix stand mixer for a really good price, checking my emails I had a promotional email offering me a £5 Waitrose voucher if I ordered something from John Lewis Click and Collect. Which I had already done! I never shop in Waitrose (I'm not sure if it is just the one local to me, but everyone in there is so rude and up themselves, plus the prices are so high) but I treated us to £5 worth of yummy stuff.

Whilst in town, the Field Agent app popped up and I accepted a £5 job to go and photograph some razor blades. If you have a smart phone then it is well worth getting the app!

I'm doing the final sweep of my accounts and apps like App Trailers and Qmee to withdraw, hopefully I'll get to £6 in Paypal to withdraw.

I've worked from home for at least 8 days this month, meaning I've saved around £85-£96 in petrol which is great. I'm not counting it towards this challenge as I'm going to start letting my "car fund" build for car related expenses. I've already saved £220 for tax due at the end of December. Normally I just do this challenge the month before to earn the money, so I'm proud of myself.

I am really, really excited about this trip to Florida! I feel as though it is going to be life changing. I'm going to spend some down time whilst out there setting goals for next year - I need to stop burying my head in the sand and thinking because my debts are at 0% they don't count and don't need to be paid with any urgency. I also need to up my game in regards to my blog, and let next year be the year I finally tackle my weight for once and for all.

Wow, that's pretty heavy for a Monday! Anyway, I may pop in tomorrow, but if not then Bon Voyage everyone. I will be thinking of you all when I tackle the Black Friday sales :D

  • Hi all,

I've managed to reach (and exceed!) my target so I'm hoping to manage £450 this month. Most of it is comes from eBay sales as we are moving so have had a huge clearout. I am not expecting to be able to do this every month!
  • Have a fab time emmaglet.

Nat, I told the ebay survey people you recommended me :D.

Adding £20 today, Christmas bonus from work.
