Next year I'm hoping to start a 'christmas charity shop challenge' so max spend of £5, all gifts much be charity, secondhand or regifted
Oh year, and I usually regift from my family to in laws and vice versa
Our eldest has crocheted all of her Christmas gifts this year, she's made scarfs, gloves, hats, keyrings, phone and kindle covers. She bought 2 balls of wool and used the extras from balls of wool I've made things with.
I really like the charity shop challenge idea.0 -
We have two little ones and when money was really tight I bought lots of second hand toys. Washed and polished them and then said that santa couldn't get the box down the chimney. They were over the moon as they had more than normal because I bought vtech toys for£5 that should have been £25. Also bought last years FIFA games and my son didn't know that 2011 wasn't the right year!
We get the "perfect" toys for us not them. They never once asked for the box.........0 -
