Hey guys, thanks for all the positive vibes :A

Was expecting a friend over this morning but she never arrived so I had a little trip to Sains and Ts. Got a few Halloween cakes RTC. They have a B date of Xmas week so should last a while if I can keep some hidden from DH ;)

Had a little heart in my mouth moment when I got home. Opened a letter to find it was a benefits claim form that had been completed by my payroll dept on my behalf. No accompanying letter just the form stating that my SSP would stop in a couple of weeks blink.gif Turns out SSP stopping but my occupational sick pay continuing as I thought phew.gif

On the subject of anaemia, make sure you avoid caffeine when you have iron rich foods as it reduces absorption :)

Thanks for that, I have read that too.

Funny you should mention the claim form you have received, I have had the EXACT same thing from my employer!!
No covering letter either so didn't know who to contact.
I was scared stiff that the next letter was going to be my P45!
It was also saying that any future sick notes should go to DWP and not my work.
I have spoken to my manager who has told me to ignore it as she thinks that it was sent in error.
It was also around the time that my ssp ended.
I get paid on the 15 th of the month so I am hoping that I still get my osp then :o

Spinnach is a waste of time. I'm aneamic. I was eating spinach till my pee was going green. Then I read that the iron component found in it, can't retain in your body. It all leaves before you get any benefits. HTH

I think its safe to say you are talking pish

... You can dish it out but don't seem able to take it when it comes back on you. I guess you are just one of those people that I wouldn't want to mix with in real life.

It really is time all this carping back and forth stopped -........

I haven't dished anything out. I merely posted a very balanced comment. The reason you don't want to view it as balanced is that you want to support your cyber buddies and so on. All very boring.

As for mixing with me in life - you wouldn't get the opportunity. I am a fellow forum member - end of.

If you really do want the carping to stop then please stop misrepresenting my original post and being spiteful because you'll not kick me into the long grass. I'm too hard-skinned for that.

Re the cheese. Yesterday, I got the vintage with seriously strong mature (yellow packet), didn't say red on it. 350g and it worked. HTH

Popping to Asda later this arvo and hoping someone can clarify cheese glitch? I see you have to buy seriously strong mature (poss redor not) but what else do you have to buy or how many? Have read about it being a trigger so not sure copying someones will work if not all showing up on that?
