I have talked to Mad this morning and he is gonna be coming outta the hospital as soon as there is a decent beer glitch, something better than cobra/free beer :beer:Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I seem to remember something along those lines. Animal based iron is easier for the body to absorb - so red meat especially liver if you like it, is ideal. You'd have to eat a much smaller portion to get the same amount of iron too.
HTH.

Nearly allIt may be worth losing the clothes in order to lose this so called "friend"!
My Dad used say something similar re lending people money, sometimes it worth losing a tenner to get rid of 'em!!;)
I agree. Rose you dont really need to get involved. Your daughter just needs to forget the clothes and move on. Re the cheese. Yesterday, I got the vintage with seriously strong mature (yellow packet), didn't say red on it. 350g and it worked. HTH

One thing that does keep & improves with age is rice. Remember the Tilda 5kg sacks they were selling for £2.50 in Asda a couple of years back - I think I have 3.5 sacks left - lovely rice now! It was good when bought but even tastier now.
Not sure if the brown rice with the coupon will improve with age though as not having seen them they look to be sealed in plastic or metal.
Does asda brown rice improve with age? it gotta be the worse stuff Ive ever tried!!!:rotfl:I have talked to Mad this morning and he is gonna be coming outta the hospital as soon as there is a decent beer glitch, something better than cobra/free beer

Can confirm mr m also stopped for me.
So active ones are cheese and cobra?
Sounds like a few of us now have had Mr M fail this morning.
On the plus side, Beanz still worked (although today is the last day at T for them, although checking on the MySuper App it is now showing as £2.50 at T). BUT - the App is now showing these at £2 in Mr S.
Also, S&G is still working.0 -
Hey guys, thanks for all the positive vibes :A
Was expecting a friend over this morning but she never arrived so I had a little trip to Sains and Ts. Got a few Halloween cakes RTC. They have a B date of Xmas week so should last a while if I can keep some hidden from DH
Had a little heart in my mouth moment when I got home. Opened a letter to find it was a benefits claim form that had been completed by my payroll dept on my behalf. No accompanying letter just the form stating that my SSP would stop in a couple of weeksTurns out SSP stopping but my occupational sick pay continuing as I thought
On the subject of anaemia, make sure you avoid caffeine when you have iron rich foods as it reduces absorption♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
