Evening to all the old crew who may remember me! And hello to all those that don't!! I don't have much time nowadays to even lurk on the thread, but have just had a little find which I wanted to share. You may already have seen it so excuse me if I am repeating something!

At Sainsburys on Kenton Rd, Harrow they have Cadbury's Spooky Cake Bars, Cinder Toffee flavour on discount; now at 30p for a pack of five, also Slimy Strawberry. The reduction in itself is good, however, the Cinder Toffee flavour also have a tiny 25p off pull-off voucher on the right hand side of the packet. So, one purchase for 30 p and then pop back in with your 25p off tab and voila - only 5p for five cake bars. They are Best Before 25 November, so plenty of time to work your way through a few packs. They are in the entrance, between the two sets of doors and there were a fair few packs left at 3.50 this afternoon.

Hope everyone is tickety boo, and hope this helps someone. :)

Bloody hello, you sound like you know what you are talking about. I just looked at the most expensive that I semi liked and told OH what he is going to do! :o:o:o

Don't all girls love diamonds? ;)

My engagement ring was made from a diamond that was passed down through OHs family. I originally had it set in claws; so I had researched that sort of style.

In the end the setting drove me mad as every thread catches on the claws; so eventually I had it reset with a different setting.

Not quite sure that this is a hug... or something you could charge for!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Shall I remove it I don't want to offend, I know it is dubious but it is occasionally used a virtual hug on here, and I think Mad would smile. :o

    Cardiff v Swansea

    Red Card

    Yes 5/2

    No 4/11.

Campebell chases a long ball forward and only has Vorm to beat. The striker heads it past the Swans goalkeeper, who then brings him down, giving Mike Dean no option but to show the red card. :j:j:j

I might love them if I ever had one.... I think it is a form of spouse cruelty.

I think your right, but I have never had a diamond ever and don't fancy my chances of actually getting one. He had previously promised me a diamond for my 40th, he actually bought me a diamond sewage system!!

Alas, I may just manage a pair of gold earrings, but a girl can dream, plan, plot, manipulate......... It is going to be my mission to be able to get something nice for next Christmas and be selfish and keep it!

    :D:D:D:D:D

I had a diamond once and I lost it. :( 1/4 carat engagement ring trouble is I wore it all the time, even while washing up etc. The only time I took if off was to make pastry. :o

One xmas eve I did just that, took it off while making mince pies and I know when I put it on again late that night the diamond was there. We were all sat opening presents on xmas morning and I noticed this black hole where the diamond should have been.

Everything had to stop, we had every bit of wrapping paper out of the bin bags, Mr TS took apart the plumbing of the sinks not really what you want to be doing on xmas morning. I did remember catching my ring on my towelling dressing gown so I think it must have loosened a claw. But I never found it again. :(
