I agree, can't always take it for granted that items will work just because they did on a previous shop..., unfortunately. It just adds another dimension to shopping:)

Hello, haven't completely caught up yet but just wanted to ask if there are issues with Waities prices comparing tonight? I know some people had snakes not working yesterday, then they worked again but is the same thing happening today? I just entered a receipt and it came back n/a.
Off to catch up from early today now.

I might have missed the info earlier - but where did the £60 come from ? Did you get charged for 3 Meal Deals at £10 each or did you get charged the full, non-discounted price ? If you were charged full price surely you noticed that something was wrong when you got to the till? I don't want to sound too unsympathetic but its a bit much to expect the store to take a loss of £60 - they might be more able to afford it than you but that doesn't make it fair. And you didn't lose all the money - you still had the 3 Meal Deals. You seem a bit confused about the Meal Deal and how the glitch works.

You could be right ! However, something else must have disappeared as well as I should still have had 8 items. Thinking about it, my fish fingers didn't appear on an APG earlier this week so t looks like several things are vanishing into a black hole.

OK, understandable if your new to glitching. As you'll have gathered, there's never a good outcome with returning chilled food. It will either end up in a bin or it will be returned to the chiller for some unsuspecting customer to re buy.
As you returned it anyway, it would have been better to do it instore, before the food had been out the chiller too long.....no harm done that way. It's a learning curve and hopefully you won't panic next time it goes wrong (and it will)

I'm not preaching, sorry if it sounds like I am. Hopefully just giving good advice
