Oh Dear, what a start....in more ways than one :(

I've been having trouble with my back for a few weeks now, but this morning I must have trapped a nerve when I sat down with my coffee. All I could do was lie down on the floor for about an hour, couldn't move or the pain was unbearable.

Have to get to the cemetery and church somehow - those that "know" me will guess what sad anniversary it is today.

I need to bake a Haunted Castle cake for DD's Halloween party - have any peeps/peepettes made such and can give some tips? Please.

For any ebayers, or those posting Christmas gifts, slight change in sizing by Royal Mail, meaning more items will hopefully go as small parcels rather than medium.

Morning Rhett, nice to see you back.

I am sure when purpledonkey comes along she may have some ideas - there are some pics of her fantastic cakes posted early hours this morning :)

Hope your back eases, and you get doing what you need to, but try to take it easy.
  • Morning all.
    Hope everyone is ok.:)

Stress levels still pretty high... Not been feeling too well the last few days but a bit better today.
No news on the scan yet. The problem is that an outside company organises the appointment and conducts scan once I'm referred. The sort of scan I have is more uncommon so there aren't scanners at each hospital. A mobile scanner tours the region and it's nearest stop to me is about 50 miles away. So I have to rely on my specialist nurse to chase them on my behalf, after a nudge from me

Hope your feeling about better this morning hun x
    How's everyone this evening?

I just got back from Croydon after spending the afternoon making these. Ran out of time and covered everything with fake blood. Also used up the last of the 1p sweets inside the cake.

PS. I don't usually comment or become involved in any friction.

But IMHO, please don't leave the thread/sit it out as a lurker, or we all suffer as the thread is drained of its wonderful people.

Right, I will catch you all later. My kids are starting to move around after a very long Sunday lie in, well by their standards.
