    Morning everyone :)

Good there is a new thread to take us forward.

Streetlights, good luck with your NSD. Still eating out of fridge/freezer here, and my food spend this month will hopefully be under £17 :D

Hoping to carry it on through November too, but will see how it goes!

Have a good day everyone, keep watching the forecast for your area, and keep safe.

    Why £17 midwinter?

I'm only feeding myself, as DS's are both now at uni, but it's good, not just to save money, but clear freezer/cupboards. I've had some interesting dinners! lol

Need to clear the space though, so I can get making food for the Christmas season.

For those with Dr O coupons, next ones will be valid from 1st November, currently best price is 2 for £4 in A's, so 2 for £2 after coupons.

Some one on here yesterday said farm foods have them for 24£3 and take the vouchers so good if anyone has one near them :)

£17 wasn't the "max limit" I set, it's just the current total is just over £16, so hoping to spend very little over the next 4 days :), giving me a month total under £17.

Yesterday I posted that I managed to find some snakes yesterday but both boxes scanned at different prices .. Anyway they still both compared correctly , just strange that the same product with the same barcode could come up with two different prices in the same transaction :s

Many many years ago I used to own an ex BT yellow van..... I had to play my music on an 8-track player. Who else remembers them?:rotfl:

I didn't go to check but do the overnight stock teams work on a Saturday night? Wondered if A would have had a delivery of snakes if I went between 9 and 10 ... but then decided to sample my existing stock. Not too shabby ...

Please can I ask are you snake hunting this morning?

2 stores yesterday but no snakes :(

Quite an ungrateful post, if you don't mind me saying so. I for one was unaware of any such a tradition. Perhaps it should appear on page one if it is to be written in stone?

Not ungrateful zappo, it's just that Heatherlea (finder of the mega Cobra glitch) was to start the new thread. Hope she is not too disappointed as being gazumped :(
