How accurate is Bott & Co Claim Calculator

Hi

How accurate is the claim calculator on

and

Just entered our details for our delayed technical problem and its saying 'You are not entitled to claim'

But on flightstats our flight from Cardiff to Reus states

ARRIVAL
Scheduled Departure:
8:25 AM - Mon Jun-17-2013

Scheduled Arrival:
11:30 AM - Mon Jun-17-2013
Actual Arrival:
3:23 PM - Mon Jun-17-2013

If you disagree with the outputs, I would contact them. If your flight was more than 3 hours late in arriving, I would say you have a prima facie case.

You say what flightstats says. Maybe a silly question but does that agree with what you recorded or remember?

Yes

As shown on flight stats the actual arrival at Reus was over 3 hours late

Scheduled Arrival: 11:30 AM
Actual Arrival:3:23 PM

Well it can be taken as one of two ways.

Either Bott & co believe the flight wasn't delayed over 3 hours
or
Bott & co made a claim for that flight already, and feel that it was extraordinary circumstances and therefore won't be chasing claims related to that flight.

Did the airline tell you what the reason for the delay was?

I just submitted a claim through Bott & co. Flightstats had no info...it showed actual departure as 3 mins after scheduled departure however this was the first time we pushed off stand and did not actually take off till the 3rd attempt 4 hours later (sat on plane whole time) and showed unknown for the arrival. The Bott & co info came back with the proper departure and arrival times which matched my memory so they must have some more detailed information

It was a technical problem with the plane not sure what but it was quite major as they had to bring another plane in and crew from Manchester
