. I just hope it's not camping in woods down in the South East...the winds howling out there already.
Thank you. We live in the South East and I will be glad to be away from all the weather chaos forecast for us. Hope to return from the sun and still find my house and trees in one piece. The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. DS is at his Dads tonight so he gets the problem0

When they were tiny I used to stretch naps/food by 5/10mins so the day ended a little later than normal. No real issues the following day doing this.
Put them to bed at normal time and as we've had such a full on day, DS was struggling to keep his eyes open.
TBH, more concerned about my dog. She's a worrier at the best of times and the howling wind has got her all flustered. Not settled at all tonight and I can forsee her whinging and pacing all through the night.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I'll be up with you.....we had the witching hour so I ended it early....!She has already woke up crying twice (never has she done this before) - either the howling winds or her cold that is causing it!

To try and counteract the clocks going back
We haven't intenionally kept DS1 up late, but we did take him to Blackpool today to see the illuminations and he stayed awake until he fell asleep in the car on the way back at about 10pm. So now I'm hoping that the combination of sea air and going to sleep late means he'll sleep until later tomorrow so I get the benefit of the extra hour.
Mind you, me and OH have decided to catch up with X Factor, and won't be going to bed until almost 2am now (the original 2am not the 2nd one), so probably won't feel any benefit at all.0 -
Not too bad! 6.45 'real' time, so 5.45 after putting the clocks back."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

DS1 woke up at 7.30am which would have been 8.30am so I'm quite happy with that! Sea air musthave done the trick.0

I let them stay up light as its half-term and they wanted to watch Strictly, but the blighters will up at 6.30 this morning. Which in reality isn't that bad as they're normally awake by 6.30.0
