No, but my monster is nearly 10 and just gets herself up (about 7 ish) makes her breakfast as I leave a bowl, cereal etc on the work top and has that then watches tv or reads/draws til I get up.
She's such a little sweetie she even turns the volume on the tv down so she doesn't wake me.

No my two are in bed already. We are going to be up at silly o'clock tomorrow as we're off on holiday. I have not been my normal organised self and still have all the bags to pack  Cant concentrate properly when they are dashing around all excited.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

My children have never been particularly fussy about sleeping patterns and will just read in bed in the mornings or play until it's time for breakfast.

One hour really isn't that much of a big deal.

Mine sleeps like a log so no worries about early rising tomorrow.

Mine's a great sleeper too at the moment but he does like to rise early and rattle the bars of his cage until attended to by a parent.

  • Have a lovely holiday marisco :D. I just hope it's not camping in woods down in the South East...the winds howling out there already.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

No but he is 9 and I let him have an extra half hour of bookworming at the weekend anyway. If he does wake up he'll read until his belly tells him to wake us.

When he was a toddler/baby I used to nudge by 1/2 hour but then I found it resolved its self within a week anyway.
