Preparing For The Storm

I'm going to charge all my gadgets fully before going to bed, then unplug them.

Fill up saucepans with water just in case.

Got some candles and torches anyway.

Have tidied garden and not going to put out the recycling tonight!

Might have to get the bus to work instead of walking, if it's too windy.

Tilley lamp! I remember the smell of paraffin well.

That brings back fishing memories.

We all use cap lamps or coleman unleaded lamps now.

I well remember trying to get the tilley to light with the meths soaked cork burner on a windy night.
