Getting my food shop in tonight, instead of Monday.

There isn't really a vast amount you can do, the weather is bad enough today up here anyway

Just stacked the garden chairs, put the table into the corner, laid the ladder down, put the planters in a sheltered place and took the hanging baskets down.
Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear

Tidying garden and checking boundries before letting dogs out
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I have charged up some AA batteries so that I can use my radio if the power goes off. Also put a torch in my bedside cabinet.

Will put my wheelie bins in the garage later today, they blow over in high winds with an enormous crash. And I always make fresh bread in my breadmaker on a Sunday, got plenty of flour so no problems there.

Absolutely nothing ! judging by the forecasts so far the eye is passing right over us, if the !!!!'s gonna happen it's gonna happen you can't do anything about it so sit it out.
Generator is already topped up as a matter of course, plenty of wood in already for the winter so that'll keep us warm and we can cook on the stove or in the range, other than that I'll just watch and listen to the news and weather and stay in.

Moved garden furniture to a secure spot, moved pots with plants in them under the hedge, bread and milk in the feezer, tins of beans in the cupboard, filled Tilley lamp, charged kindle and downloaded 6 books.
Let it blow, let it blow, let it blow!
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • Turned patio table upside down so the wind can't get under it and blow it about. Took off swingseat cover so it won't rip or cause the seat to become a missile in the wind. Folded up my whirly wash line and put it in the shed along with the watering cans.

Made some bread and bread rolls this morning along with some cakes. Will fill up the flask with boiling water tonight just incase there's no leccy in the morning (at least we can have a cuppa). Charging my phone and iPad along with my kindle.
